Conducting HSE audits, inspections, risk assessments and evaluations to detect existing or potential accident and hazards and to determine preventative measures.
Promoting, with the management, a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with the industry best practices.
Leading / participating effectively in the site HSE meetings, communicating HSE alerts and lessons learnt, and discussing issues related to HSE with the plant operators.
Performing, verifying, and following up with site inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external HSE standards.
Ensuring all incidents, accidents and near misses are timely reported and facilitating the investigation and analysis process.
Providing support to manufacturing facility for investigations, developing improvements, corrective action plans and follow-up initiatives.
Supporting operations through championing and implementing various safety programs to reduce workplace hazards.
Ensuring adherence with HSE policies and procedures and assist the contracted services to comply with the same.
Participating in various safety drills to ensure effectiveness of the site emergency response.
Review daily observations and take prompt actions to highlight significant observations to HSE Manager.
