Key Responsibilities•Operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, boring, threading, and keyway cutting operations.•Carry out shaft rebuilding, housing sleeving, and rotor journal repair as per engineering standards.•Perform milling and drilling operations when required.•Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and dial gauges.•Collaborate with the QC and Rewinding Teams to ensure dimensional accuracy of repaired components.•Follow job cards and technical drawings; ensure timely completion of machining works.•Maintain cleanliness, safety, and calibration of tools and machines.•Assist in dynamic balancing setup and coupling alignments when required.Qualifications & Experience•Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Machining / Mechanical Technology or equivalent.•Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a machinist in a motor or generator repair workshop.•Strong understanding of rotating equipment, bearings, and fits/tolerances.•Hands-on experience with electric motor components preferred.•Familiarity with safety practices and precision tools.•Proficient in lathe, milling, and drilling operations (manual and semi-automatic). •Knowledge of sleeving, journal repair, and shaft alignment. •Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, bore gauges, and dial gauge[update cv in your account with required details and apply online]This job is posted by an Indian Recruitment Agency and prefers applications from Indian candidates available immediately for Recruitment process Company Profile Sahil Travel Service is licensed by the Government of India, Ministry of labour for Manpower Recruitment.
