Meeting with clients and project managers to discuss the scope of the project.
Prepares project cost estimates, evaluate contractors? bids, and recommend the best option to the client.
Must have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials and an ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Work with architects and project managers to ensure the project stays within budget.
Must have excellent mathematical skills and use different construction software programs to create cost estimates.
They should also communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors. Researching to determine the cost of materials and construction workers
Uses software programs to generate cost estimates
Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
Makes revisions to estimates as needed
Provides support during the project implementation phase
Understands the scope of the project and developing a detailed estimate
Works with clients and project managers to ensure that all necessary information is gathered
Generates accurate estimates using various software programs
Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
Adjusts estimates as necessary based on changes in the scope of the project
