Job Description

An outstanding opportunity exists for an accomplished Technical and Estimation Manager to join this Italian-Saudi company working in Facility Management, enhancing its customer portfolio according to its expansion plans.The company offer & building maintenance services for Authorities, Major company and for commercial / residential, public-sector schools, mall, and hospitals as well as high-end residential buildings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to oversee our Technical and Estimating department.The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of cost estimation, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in our bids/project proposals.You will work closely with various teams to assess project requirements, develop detailed cost forecasts, and support the strategic bidding process.Responsibilities

  • Lead the estimating team to prepare precise cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.
  • Oversee the compilation of necessary documentation to support transparent and accurate bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather all pertinent information for bid preparation.
  • Validate cost information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure it meets project demands.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of current and past project costs to guide future estimates.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior estimators and support staff.
  • Participate in bid review meetings with clients and upper management.
  • Establish and implement ?best practices? and focuses on continuous improvement.
  • Study, analyze and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view in order to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards for the overall risk assessment and bid decision.
  • Consolidate prices after meeting with the tendering committee and add extra costs.
  • Accurate estimation of project cost.
  • Accurate estimation of manpower.
  • Solutions provided to bottlenecks found in the tender document.
  • Quantity surveying skills.
  • Must be able to prepare BOQ?s and RFQ?s from drawing.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdown as per the scope including detailed material take off, activity wise resource requirements, subcontracts, indirect costs etc.
  • Conduct site investigation to identify and assess details of scope.
  • Prepare technical proposal including statements, planning inputs, data sheets, techno- commercial qualifications in coordination with relevant departments.
Requirements:Any NationalityStrong verbal and written communication skills.Fluent English and Arab LanguageEducational QualificationMust be a mechanical/electrical engineer with thorough knowledge of electro-mechanical works.Professional QualificationHaving diploma/certificates about in projects, should have attended seminar/concern lectures is a plus.
