We are a Saudi-based fashion-tech startup building an end-to-end backend platform for automated body measurement from images and custom pattern generation for menswear. As a Computer Vision-Focused Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the core backend services that power this platform. You will define the system architecture, data models, and internal APIs that connect image intake, measurement extraction, and pattern generation. This role is hands-on and impact-driven, working directly with the founder to transform a technical vision into a scalable, production-ready system.SkillsSkills & Requirements? Strong experience in backend development using Python (Django/FastAPI), and optionally Node.js (Express/NestJS).? Proven ability to design and build scalable RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.? Solid skills in relational database design and data modeling (preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL).? Experience building image upload, storage, and processing workflows, and integrating with Computer Vision / AI services (or custom models) via APIs or SDKs.? Foundational understanding of Computer Vision concepts (e.g., body landmark detection, pose estimation) to correctly integrate and interpret AI service outputs.? Ability to design modular, clean architectures with clear separation between domain logic, infrastructure, and interfaces.? Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs/SDKs and mapping responses into internal data structures.? Proficient with Git and best practices for clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
