Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for a position as Assistant Professor inthe Mechanical Engineering/electrical Department/ College of Engineering. Located in Dammam, Kingdomof Saudi Arabia, Alasala is a Private Institute of Higher Education. Alasala is considered a comprehensiveplatform of academic and scientific programs for students with an environment enriched with various andflexible challenges. Currently around ? 600 students are studying at the College of Engineering. We expectto recruit new male and female faculty for the start of the spring semester in ?. and for the start of thesummer semester in ?.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSApplicants must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering. Previous teaching and excellentclassroom management skills are required for all positions. Experience with NCAAA and ABETaccreditation processes is highly desirable. Research-active candidate is preferred. The post holder isexpected to teach a range of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.TEACHING DUTIESThe academic calendar consists of three ?-week semesters (fall, spring and summer), with 12 teachingweeks each followed by ? weeks allocated toa set of final examinations.
