You will work closely to coordinate and complete positions tasks as follow :

  • Responsible for Regional Product Roadmaps, Contracting and Launch Calendar, including responsible segment price positioning structure
  • Owner of the African Product Portfolio and perform regular assortment reviews
  • Responsible for technical part of product knowledge support for local teams
  • Implements UX (User experience) activity calendar for transferring Region Africauser insights and requirements towards Product Development Teams in the Business Unit
  • Perform regular market analysis and derive main regional trends
  • Organize user focus groups for prototype validations and concept developments and initiate development of new product according to gathered UX (user experience)
  • Support and advocate regional product driven content, with focus on supporting of different user segments
  • Formulate requirements for local legal compliance [product certifications]
  • Support local sales teams in certification applications
QualificationsEducation (incl. language):
  • Master?s degree in marketing or business management and/or technical studies
  • Fluent in English andFrench (Arabic orGerman is a plus)
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of power tools and its overall technical aspects
  • Knowledge from any experience in construction business is a plus
  • Ability to plan and perform UX research activities [prototype validations and concept development]
  • User centric focused with strong interpersonal competences
  • Demonstrate strategic outlook for a product portfolio,market analysis, SKU consolidation, portfolio gap/opportunity analysis
  • High communication skills to wide range of stakeholders
  • Result orientation and future-oriented thinking [towards the product development plan]
Work Experience:
  • Experience in industrial products or consumer durable industries
  • Sales / marketing experience and/or affinity
