About this opportunityWe are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing design optimization and audit of a network to meet customer requirements. The position is applicable for design & optimization of RAN. Youll be engaged in the whole process from pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance.The role focuses on executing design, audit and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, youll be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.What you will do

  • GSM Cellular Planning : Planning of new sites, new cells and familiar with prediction-based tools. Be able to satisfy customer capacity and coverage needs, with optimal number of sites and configuration.
  • GSM Frequency Planning : Candidate should able to support during frequency plan implementation. Including FP validation, check implementation, support for drive test analysis and KPIs improvements. Should be able to support for 2G re-farming and EFO (MR based) generated frequency plans
  • GSM Network Performance Optimization : the candidate should be familiar with Ericsson KPIs/counters and statistic tools. Be able to link between HW issues/Alarms and QoS degradations.
  • UMTS/LTE knowledge : the candidate should have enough knowledge about LTE/UMTS to ensure GSM interworking with the above technologies, and as part of his personal development.
You will bring
  • Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • 3-5 years? experience of deploy system test and lead testing team.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in the network area of working (GSM RAN)
  • English/ French Skills
