Job Description

The Head of Logistics candidate requires planning, implementation and controlling the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption in order to meet customers / sales requirements. Functions include inbound and outbound transportation management, warehousing, materials handling, order fulfilment, logistics network design, inventory management of third party logistics services providers. To varying degrees, my function also includes all expenses (payments) related to logistics field, planning, scheduling, packaging and customer service. It is involved in all levels of planning and execution - strategic, operational and tactical. Logistics Management is an integrating function, which coordinates and optimizes all logistics activities, as well as integrates logistical activities with other functions including marketing, sales, finance and information technology. It needs also required project leading for customers logistics network improvement including investigation, consulting, and suggestion for innovation.Key ObjectiveslSupervise all operations related to logistics - KPI, inventory, supply chain, transport, Integration of information & customer requirements.lThe objective of the above is to manage the flow of goods, information and other resources, including energy and people, between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of the management (targets) and consumers frequently( just in time availability, timelessness of deliveries, safe, secure storage and distribution)lAssist in budget development, preparation of procurement plans and spending plans relating to logistics expenditure and operational costs.lDefine, develop and implement Logistics plans, policies and procedures in line with corporate Logistics strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.lLeading project for customers logistics operation improvement & network reorganizationRole and Responsibilitiesl[Logistics cost management] Administers logistics freight rates for all shipping and warehousing vendors and insurers, and oversees whether logistics costs is paid according to the freight contracts.l[Insurance and claim management] Reviews insurance policy on tasks related to logistics process when change occurs, manages and notifies it to the insurer if the change is required, and decides whether it is reflected in the distribution cost.l[Warehouse and transportation security] Oversees the security level of warehouse, shipping vendors and etc. to minimize risks such as theft, loss, etc.l[Solving logistics operational issues] Reviews identifying the cause and the optimal solution for issues that arise during the logistics operations.lLead a team of professionals with limited control over budget spending or HR management such as recruiting or dismissal and supervises mentoring and coaching for team memberslTypically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategylEnhances or Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcomelVerify logistics cost and make payment and settlement based on the contract, and minimize unnecessary costs.lExamine the compensation terms, limits, and exceptional clauses of the insurance, remove the possible risk factors, and claim insurance when an accident occurs
