The main purpose of this position is to participate in performing independent calculations and conceptual assessments of heat transfer processes at the Nuclear Reactor; analyze thermal-hydraulic/ Neutronic coupling with fuel, coolant and moderator, in line with ENRRA?s Integrated Management System.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in using thermal-hydraulic calculation codes and modeling the Nuclear Reactor in order to predict the behaviour of physical variables during normal operation, abnormal events and accident situations.Participate in performing deterministic safety analyses during design, construction, commissioning and operation, in order to verify compliance with applicable regulations..Participate in performing申 the independent review of safety significant thermal-hydraulic aspects documents; to check their completeness, appropriateness in content, and compliance with the established acceptance criteria.Participate as appropriate in any assessments of procedures for the commissioning and testing of safety systems.Participate in developing regulations, guides, and procedures related to thermal-hydraulic assessment.Participate in assessing the Safety Analysis Report (SAR) by checking that parts related to thermal-hydraulics demonstrate the safety of the design and operation of the nuclear reactor.申Participate in independent thermal-hydraulic assessments in the field of probabilistic safety assessment, deterministic analysis of operational and accident transients and studies of severe accidents at the Nuclear Power Plants (NPP), using validated calculation codes.Participate in performing thermal-hydraulic assessments for relevant incidents, identifying significant deviations from the normal申 operating conditions, and requesting changes to safety-related documentation.Participate as appropriate in inspections related to thermal-hydraulic assessment.Carry out other tasks assigned by the Head of Department/ Head of Sector.
