Review and study all tender documents to ensure that all data required for pricing are available.
Send inquiries to clients, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Prepare a tender brief.
Attend tender site visits and prepare reports.
Attend pre & post contract interviews and client meetings.
Prepare technical queries such as details, missing documents pertaining to the tender.
Contact suppliers and subcontractors for offers.
Evaluate the supplier quotations against the tender requirements and make a comparative analysis.
Quantity take?off from the drawings according to the project BOQ.
Preparation of material takeoff.
Preparation of Preliminary estimation, Budget estimation.
Prepare detailed estimation and cost analysis for direct cost (material, labor, equipment & subcontractor and any other construction costs)
Create the cost breakdown sheets.
Prepare value engineering proposals.
Revise the costing for the post-tender clarifications received.
Preparation of the bid packages technical and commercial proposal.
Attend pre & post contract interviews, client meetings.
Negotiating with clients and subcontractors.
Prepare final contract BOQ based on the agreed contract value.
