The position is part of the Global Tax function and reports to Tax Director MEAT.Main responsibilities of the position: To manage tax risks in Egypt and implement measures to mitigate any tax risk, to prepare and implement tax policies and procedures. To lead JTI (Corporate) tax reporting obligations for legal entities in Egypt. To supervise the preparation of TP documentation in line with tax regulations and TP global policies and guidelines. To lead tax audits in Egypt and be the main point of contact for tax authorities and external consultants. To ensure cooperation between Global Tax and Entity Finance, Factory, and other local functions. To lead tax compliance including timely review and submission of the tax returns.What will you do ? Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation of tax strategy, tax risk analyses, and implementation of the measures to mitigate tax risks. Prepare and implement tax policies and procedures, including JSOX controls in the tax area.
• Lead the companys tax compliance with the relevant tax law and practice including timely submission of the tax returns (CIT, VAT, etc). To manage and lead the groups tax reporting obligations.
• Provide internal tax advisory. Analyze flows of goods and services from a tax point of view and advice on all tax matters. Lead and coordinate tax-driven business initiatives locally or globally.
• Support the maintenance of existing transfer pricing strategies and structures. Oversee the preparation of the transfer price documentation in line with local tax regulations and global policies.
• Lead the cooperation with tax authorities and consultants, liaising with tax authorities with the tax audits and other requests, and Maintaining cooperation with all departments within the company as well as global functions.

Who are we looking for ? Requirements:

• Masters degree, Bachelor?s degree in Tax, Law, or Finance
• 8-10 years of experience in Domestic taxes in a Big four or in the business in a similar position. International tax knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in Arabic and English Languages
