Job Description

DescriptionAs a member of the Strategy Team, you will be supporting cross functional projects to define and implement the company strategy & provide support in developing a cohesive strategic plan across the different business areas taking in account local competitive, regulatory, economic, political environment.Job Responsibility

  • Support in development of the annual strategic planning process, coordinating between Vodafone Egypt different departments as well as Vodafone Group stakeholders.
  • Reporting on progress of key strategic projects & programs
  • Drive specific work streams and take end-to-end responsibility for some cross functional topics.
  • Works closely with PMO & Governance sub-function by sharing knowledge & benchmark studies & best practice for implementation of strategic programs
  • Keep up to date on developments in Telco and adjacent industries topics and actively contribute to pipeline of innovative growth ideas
  • Contribute perspectives to the broader team on how Vodafone can enhance its strategic position in the market vs. competitors and translate high level corporate strategy into executable actions.
Required CriteriaStructured approach to gathering and representing data with a strong statistical analysis backgroundIn depth knowledge of key, internal Business processes of mobile telecommunications operations & industry global trendsStrong commercial, operational / Project management acumen / knowledge as well as critical problem-solving skills, able to rationalise strategies into deliverable, operational business plansExcellent analytical & presentation skillsStrong stakeholder & relationship managementAbility to work in multitasks under pressureAbility to create board level presentationsAbility to deal with high levels of agility and ambiguityAbility to maintain focus and drive over prolonged development periodsExcellent command of English
