KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)1.Provide culturally sensitive counseling services to WFP employees and direct dependents.2.Provide active psychological support including during emergencies and/or after critical incidents to ensure continued staff well-being and that managers & staff are provided with the effective support to manage change.3.Deliver workshops, training, and information sessions on a wide range of topics (e.g., stress management, team building, problem-solving, conflict resolution, etc.) to contribute to building staff resilience and raising employees awareness of available resources.4.Provide pre and post-deployment briefings to employees deployed to hardship duty stations through briefings, counseling sessions and other activities to ensure proactive support is extended to staff.5.Work closely with WFP Regional Staff Counsellor to develop Psychosocial contingency plan(s) for WFP across the region - when and if needed.6.Collaborate with Country-based Staff Counsellors in the region on common wellness-related activities, projects, and initiatives.7.Support the Regional Staff Counsellor in identifying workplace psychosocial hazards by assessing the needs, including ongoing and anticipated needs.8.Contribute to the design of policies and guidelines, as well as information materials to increase awareness and promote staff wellness.9.Work with WFP regional Staff Counsellor to build a mental health referral network of professionals to facilitate culturally appropriate psychosocial support for WFP personnel in the region.10.Refer to external mental health professionals and relevant services when needed.11.Support and maintain the WFP Wellness Support Volunteer Network (WSV) through training and supervision.12.Contribute to building the content of WFP Wellbeing App (Country pages & general resources).13.Maintain at all times, a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality consistent with the Wellness Division Ethical Guidelines and Standards of Practice.14.Keep a record of all the activities and interventions delivered.15.Report to WFP Regional Staff Counsellor on all activities.16.Other as required.
