Job Description

Seeking an operational finance leader to partner and support the operational leadership of our manufacturing campus. This role acts as a trusted partner to the local operational leadership in Egypt, while working with the EMEA finance team in Malta. The Sr. Manager ? Operations Finance must be operational and strategic minded serving as a thought partner across various functional aspects of the operations and business, while implementing the systems and processes to help the manufacturing campus achieve their cost, quality, and delivery KPIs as well as their growth strategy.Responsabilities:

  • Ensure a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance with all relevant financial and accounting standards as well as all applicable laws, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to develop processes to analyse manufacturing operations, guiding operational leadership to areas of opportunities to outperform operational targets and inventory improvements
  • Ensure leaders have timely data and reporting needed to measure performance and the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives, and the analysis needed to understand and address gaps
  • Monitor cost variances and facilitate the root cause/corrective action process within the site
  • Develop accurate and reliable standard costs to assist quoting of new business | setting accurate benchmark for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develop strong inventory control / management practices in partnership with Operations and Engineering leaders
  • Partner with quoting and sales team to deliver on new business quoting opportunities
  • Develop a robust project launch process to track spending against authorised budget and to support weekly engineering meetings
  • Conduct and develop post-mortem programs cost performance vs quote model highlighting root cause, lessons learned and corrective actions
  • Assist, coordinate and lead the forecasting and annual planning processes for the campus
  • Leading and developing a team of finance resources with strong a bias for results and operational excellence
  • Partner with EMEA regional shared service to maintain a strong financial reporting and control environment, ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and drive a smooth month-end close process
  • Drive business performance, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
