?Handle purchase process for Machine spare parts and consumable materials for the respective plants, as per requirements.? Follow-up with vendors/suppliers for on-time supply of materials.? Maintain and update purchase records, Inward and outward reports for purchase function.? Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.? Authorize and evaluate goods receipt, and ensure adherence to quality.? Work closely with suppliers to ensure effective support.? A high level of knowledge pertaining to the installation, use, and repair of agricultural equipment.? Must be someone that pays keen attention to details.? Must have excellent coordination and organizational abilities.? Ability to solve complex problems. That is to say that the engineer must have good problem-solving abilities.?
