Main accountabilities: - Design and implementation of LTE SW Protocol Stack test cases, including system integration and system debug. - Create test plans and test cases to evaluate new features. - Run tests, analyze test reports, diagnose issues, report developers and suggest solutions. - Measure test coverage and suggest improvements to increase it. - Develop and maintain SW testing automation tools. - Monitor and analyze test results to conclude whether they are passing or troubleshoot/identify issues and drive it all the way to bug closure. - Analyze current methodologies and develop processes to improve testing procedures. - Work closely with development teams on improving their workflow in terms of coverage and quality. - Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.PROFILE REQUIRED:* Required Competencies: - 3+ Years of experience in SW testing. - Strong hands-on experience in programming and scripting, e.g. C, shell, Python. - Strong experience in testing automation tools and development. - Good Knowledge of Linux as a software development environment. - Good knowledge of full product life cycle development, source control and defect tracking systems - Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and defect tracking. - Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle from identification, analysis , troubleshooting, and documenting. - Engage in different testing phases including in-house testing environment, IOT testing and conformance testing - Hands-on experience/knowledge in communication systems, LTE 3GPP standards, will be an asset. - Hands-on experience/knowledge in CI/CD tools is an asset e.g. Jenkins - Good communication skills in both verbal and written English. - Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Working independently with little supervision. - Ability to effectively multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently. - Self-learning, self-disciplined, and a good team player. - Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic. - Good at developing relationships with internal and external teams. - Collaborates with cross-functional teams to debug complex issues at a block/system level.
