Software Test Automation Engineer IIFrom applied research to advanced engineering, Dell Technologies CTO Team?s Technology Insights Group is solutions that together advanced technologies such as AI, cloud, data management, data science/engineering, and visualization. You will be involved in assessing the market, developing technology, products, and generating intellectual property. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.We are looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer II with a strong background in highly scalable distributed systems and with experience working in an agile engineering team and a knack for researching new technologies. Candidates should display abilities to innovate and be creative.What you?ll achieveAs a Software Test Automation Engineer II, you will work with a cross-functional global team to design, build and deliver production-ready software with Dell standards.You will:

  • Contribute to the standardization of QA process and automation, including building and optimizing test automation framework as per business and technical requirements
  • Review and analyze different software requirements and come up with testing strategy and plan to execute different kind of tests in automated manner
  • Drive, coordinate and execute functional and non-functional tests including different system performance tests
  • Contribute to the effort on automation, CI/CD processes and tools to make our services simpler and more robust
  • Develop test cases and test automation scripts, execute test cases, analyze, and document result
  • Work closely with product owner to clarify and demonstrate customer requirements
  • Collaborate with members of the test team to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test, and delivery
  • Communication with management on progress, milestones, delays, and risks

  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience in quality and test automation roles
  • Experience with building test automation frameworks for UI and API testing
  • Experience with developing automated test cases
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, and microservices APIs
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodology and DevOps lifecycle
  • Knowledge in any of the languages C#/Java/Python
  • Experience in Selenium
  • Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
