Mission:We focus on developing innovative technology and systems that reduce fuel consumption in cars and increase efficiency, while keeping the pleasure of driving.CO? emission-reduction solutionStop-Start system: Valeo was the first supplier to offer customers this system that automatically shuts the engine off when a vehicle is at a standstill, saving as much as 15% in fuel consumption in dense urban traffic.Mild-hybrid technology (48V): Valeo is working on innovative hybrid solutions that require less fuel consumption and lead to lower CO? emissionElectric Supercharger: improves vehicle performance by up to 27% without increasing fuel consumption.Being part of Application/Tooling team in PTS-PEL (PowerTrain Systems Electronics):- PTS Electronics (PEL) Product Group designs and makes all the power and control electronics for the Powertrain Systems Business Group, for internal needs and directly for automakers.- Tooling Team is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop applications that are used through embedded SW V-Cycle to Support teams in Cairo, Cergy, Creteil, Shenzhen and Chennai.- PTS-PEL Software Team is delivering software to most premium Manufactures such as Porsche, Daimler, VW, Audi, PSA, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, GEELY, CHANGAN, Jac.PTS-PEL Applications Engineer shall work excitingly in the following activities and technologies:- PTS-PEL Tooling team develops Desktop applications using state of the art development methodologies that can include Agile Scrum Software development & Automatic Validation.- PTS-PEL Tooling team members have the responsibility to support other PTS teams in France, China & Chennai?

  • Analyze/Review software high level specifications and recommend actions to create optimized designs. This may include travel to meet customers to facilitate this step.
  • Design/Review detailed requirements.
  • Coaching team members to enhance Software skills.
  • Apply Valeo standards & guidelines.
  • Develop tools/Review to increase the efficiency of the software life cycle and the quality.
  • Follow/Improve defined project processes/guidelines/checklists and ensure process conformance.
  • Report work progress continuously through attendance of daily & weekly project internal meetings.
  • Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible.
  • Raise flags proactively for any issue that can impact his/her project or team.
  • Communicate professionally and autonomously with the customer and the team members.
  • Perform all the activities using the agreed internal/external configuration management tool.
Job Requirements:- B.Sc. in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics or Computer Engineering.- B.Sc. in Computer Science.- Excellent command of English language is a must.?Software Engineer Technical Qualification:- From 0 to 5 years of experience in Desktop Applications development.- Very Good C++ win32 API Knowledge and working experience.- Very Good .Net Knowledge and working experience.- Very Good Experience in Object-oriented programming.- Good Knowledge of a scripting language (Perl, Python).- Knowledge of automotive low-level communication protocols (CAN, LIN, serial) and diagnostic protocols (XCP, CCP) is a plus.?Software Engineer Personal Qualification:- Absorb and Learn new technologies.- Ability to travel to France, India and China & International mindset.- Customer main focus and customer satisfaction.- Self discipline and Goal commitment.- Result oriented.
