We are looking for an established practitioner of the latest web technologies; building best in class applications, serving users on the modern web landscape. You will be responsible for the development of digital solutions for AKQA?s sophisticated, high-profile clients. You will work closely with AKQA?s teams of Designers, UX specialists, technical developers, and project managers in MENA region. You?ll guide client teams to the best possible solutions and ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality products. Collaborating in a team of highly skilled people, each with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery; you will need to communicate your ideas to your colleagues effectively, and articulate them to other internal stakeholders. We are looking for a skilled full stack engineer to deliver market-leading solutions. You must be able to teach, coach and mentor other team members whilst maintaining high levels of productivity. As a senior member of the technical team, you should be able to minimize technical risk and ensure a high-quality output. You should be familiar with testing strategies and promoting rapid but high-quality development practices. ROLE REQUIREMENTS * At least 3 years? experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks e.g. React, Vue or similar* Experience with Headless CMS?s and other SaaS products such as Contentful, Prismic, Directus* Experience with Jamstack, cloud services (AWS, Azure) and serverless approaches such as cloud functions* HTML, CSS, pre-processors and animations* Web standards, Accessibility (a11y) and Localization (i18n)* Development and consumption of APIs such as RESTful and GraphQL* (No)SQL or Cloud hosted DBs* Developing responsive web applications and knowledge of atomic design approaches* Build and code quality tools, including testing and test automation* CI/CD pipeline approaches and technologies* Other skills, knowledge, and experience that would really excite us: * Experience in Personalization* Machine learning, chatbots/conversation solutions, AI services integration* Canvas and WebGL* Alexa or other Home assistant application development QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS * Desire to learn and embrace the latest technologies.* A highly motivated, productive, and collaborative approach to your work.* Strong communication skills.* Exceptional attention to detail.
