Job Description

Job Summary:A˙Senior˙Data˙Modeler˙will be responsible for designing and implementing˙data˙models that supports the customer˙organizations˙data-driven initiatives.˙He/She˙will collaborate closely with˙data˙engineers,˙data˙architects, and business stakeholders to understand˙data˙requirements, analyze˙data˙sources, and create effective and efficient˙data˙models. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in˙data˙modeling, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in SQL and˙data˙modeling tools.˙He/She˙will be instrumental in shaping˙the˙data˙infrastructure and ensuring integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our˙data˙assets.˙Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand˙data˙requirements and translate them into logical and physical˙data˙models.
  2. Analyze existing˙data˙sources and identify opportunities for˙data˙integration, consolidation, and standardization.
  3. Design and develop˙data˙models using industry best practices, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  4. Implement˙data˙modeling standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  5. Perform˙data˙profiling and analysis to identify˙data˙quality issues and recommend˙data˙cleansing and enrichment strategies.
  6. Collaborate with˙data˙engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of˙data˙models into the overall˙data˙architecture.
  7. Validate and optimize˙data˙models to ensure efficient˙data˙retrieval, storage, and processing.
  8. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in˙data˙modeling techniques and tools.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior˙data˙modelers,˙fostering˙a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
