Job Description

Our company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cairo,, Egypt. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar role. This position requires someone who is highly organized, able to multitask, and can work effectively under pressure.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for clients.
  2. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Manage and reconcile bank accounts, general ledger, and balance sheets.
  4. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
  5. Prepare and file tax returns, handle tax audits, and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  6. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  7. Coordinate and communicate with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  8. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
  3. Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
