Job Description

To continue building KONE safety culture and proactively promote safety practices, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety Engineer to be based in Egypt.The Safety Engineer will be proactively working to ensure continuous improvement of safety performance and awareness. We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and who can collaborate with the different stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and guidelines affecting safety.What will you do?

  • Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system including employees, end users and third party safety
  • Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety
  • Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans
  • Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices
  • Support safety related change management projects and initiatives
  • Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of safety data
  • Perform safety audits and risk assessments regularly to verify compliance, identify uncontrolled risks and deviations
  • Deliver safety training and induction to employees and subcontractors
Are you the one?
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 1-3 years of working experience in safety in construction sites or relevant
  • OSHA, ISO or other related safety certificates
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence safety culture
  • High attention to details
  • Excellent Arabic and English communication skills
