Job Description

The Project Manager oversees the projects execution at the GU level and application of the PM Standard, acting as a focal point in terms of project management related initiatives. He/she must ensure GU client facing projects are delivered to maximise the value for the client with adequate planning of pull through. Also ensure local projects are managed effectively through a consistent project delivery approach by the designated PMs to protect the planned and approved profitability.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Align with Global PMO and ensure adherence to projects governance requirements hence delivering successful projects in a consistent manner
  • Escalate projects at risks to Global PMO for attention and support? Monitor and review project performance (variances) and SDMS- KPOs, and propose corrective action items on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all project related data including project accounting data is populated timely in Changepoint by all PMs
  • Capture and share lessons learned within the PM community
  • Ensure all projects within the GU have proper scope management with documented scope document and change control process
  • Coach and advise PMs in developing scope document during project initiation phase? Act as a Project Manager with a part-time dedication, according to the service delivery needs
  • Participate and mandate formal transition into Managed Services by working closely with the GU SDM
