Program Coordinator, Tomorrow?s Leaders Programs (TLG), Grant Position Cairo, Egypt 2 days ago 145 applicants Welcome backSign in to saveProgram Coordinator, Tomorrow?s Leaders Programs (TLG), Grant PositionatThe American University in Cairo.Reports to:Associate Director, Tomorrow?s Leaders Graduate ProgramPurpose:The job holder is responsible for coordinating all TLG program activities, liaising as necessary with other Tomorrow?s Leaders (LG) programs, the Office of Graduate Student Services and Fellowships, the different graduate programs involved in the TLG program, as well as the faculty members from relevant graduate programs who are concerned with graduate student supervisions. He/she will be the focal point for the support provided to TLG students, the different co-curricular and extra-curricular activities offered exclusively to TLG students, as well as The American University in Cairo?s (AUC) more general resources and opportunities provided to TLG students. He/she will be responsible for all program technical activities.Principal Accountabilities:* Work with TLG team to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment that supports students? learning and achieves the program?s mission, objectives and values* Act as a focal point for TLG students, providing them with the necessary guidance, advice and support for all components of the TLG program* Supervise the TLG students arrivals, residence and travel logistics, including coordinating with AUC Office of Business Support* Manage TLG students? orientations, as well as students? integration within the AUC graduate orientation for new students* Develop and maintain details of all resources available to TLG students and useful for their successful completion of the graduate programs* Guide, advise, and follow up on TLG students? involvement in required curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities on a monthly basis* Monitor, review and evaluate the progress of scholars through evaluation forms, focus group discussions and other tools in coordination with the monitoring and evaluation expert* Coordinate the yearly TLG conferences with partner universities, including all necessary activities for the active participation of AUC TLG students* Manage the organization of the TLG conference at AUC* Develop all necessary program-related documents and manuals* Provide the necessary information and support for all program-related reports* Provide the necessary information and support for all program-related plans such as risk mitigation and safety plan, monitoring and evaluation plan, sustainability plan* Coordinate the development and implementation of the TLG communication plan, maintain the websites functionality and ensure that information is kept up-to-date, in coordination with the TL senior communications officer and Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies* Oversee the production of different communication tools to highlight the program?s components and students? achievements and success stories* Manage information systems including keeping on file a copy of all records, documents, technical reports and other evidence relating to the project for audit purposes* Manage and supervise the day-to-day performance of the program assistant coordinator* Perform other program-related duties as might come up and be identified by the program principle investigatorRequirements:Minimum Education Requirement:* A university degree is required* A master?s degree is an assetExperience:* 8 years of experience, 5 of them in a relevant fieldSkills: ? Managing time effectively and meeting deadlines ? Managing complex tasks and operations ? Identifying operational priorities ? High ability to manage data and information ? Being tactful, diplomatic and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality ? Advanced business writing skills ? Excellent English and Arabic language skills ?
