IHS continues to grow and develop its existing positions and offerings in Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, C?te d?Ivoire, Kuwait, Nigeria, Peru, Rwanda and Zambia.The OpportunityIHS Towers is expanding and we are seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager in Cairo! As the Manager, you will be responsible for effective prioritisation, management and delivery of procurement and supply chain activities to support our operating company in Egypt. Egypt is a new territory for IHS and this individual will establish the local procurement and supply chain function. You will create a local supplier network, while supported by Groupwide suppliers, processes and infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter yet collaborative and works well in a virtual team.The required tasks relate to developing a local OpCo strategy development and hands-on execution; supplier market and spend data analysis; preparing sourcing projects, implementing of supplier agreements. The tasks also include supply chain related activities including: effective demand planning, lead-time management, customs management and associated logistics and supply chain. The focus is on effectively delivering products and services on time and at a quality required to service our customer/stakeholder, while optimising internal efficiencies including cost, quality, process and time.Responsibilities

• Procurement strategies and delivery:?Good understanding of the local Towers? supply market, ability to understand and analyze relevant supply market dynamics and supplier capabilities, lead and hands-on management of end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain activities in line with the Group-wide procurement policy; implement and maintain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives which eliminate inefficiencies and enhance performance in the company?s supply chain; ensure all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies are carried out to meet operational, project and program demands to support short, medium and longer term objectives; ensure adoption of and adherence to Sustainability (ESG) principles; optimize spend, leverage the supply base, minimize risk and ensure compliance with IHS policies, processes and regulatory standards; work with relevant stakeholders to create commercial arrangements that appropriately address risk, reward, supply chain flexibility and continuous improvement; ensure full alignment, understanding and adoption of roles & responsibilities in agreed governance model with local, specialist and Group teams

• Sourcing:?Gather information for development of sourcing strategies; establish appropriate negotiation strategies, ensure stakeholder alignment and lead/support contract negotiation and creation activities; proactively identify and communicate changes in demand or business strategy to category procurement teams to mitigate penalties or supply shortages to the business; lead or support supplier performance management activities, ensuring accurate reporting against SLA?s and KPI?s, reviewing performance with project owner(s), stakeholders and suppliers and leading performance enhancement interventions as required; liaise with Group Category teams to align sourcing priorities, provide local input and where appropriate, implement global agreements through local supply chains; ensure agreements handover to stakeholders, for local implementation and day-to-day management.

• Chain:?Manage expectations regarding lead times and engage in demand/inventory planning to ensure that requisitions and purchase orders are submitted in a timely manner; work effectively with Treasury and Finance to ensure letters of credit and other financial tools are delivered in a timely manner; ensure that customs documentation and requirements are understood and proactively addressed; liaise with Technical team to address quality and returns.
