Principal Integration and Verification Software EngineerThe Software Engineering team delivers next-generation 5G products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop 5G products - all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.When your products transform the way we live and work, nothing can be left to chance. Our Test Engineering team takes charge of the testing, evaluation and validation of all our products. We?re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and integration of our products. We?re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.Join us as a Principal Software Engineer on our 5G Private Network Engineering Development team in Cairo Egypt to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you?ll achieveAs a 5G Principal QA Engineer, you will work with a cross functional global team to test, integrate and deliver production ready software with Dell standards.You will:

  • Contribute to every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality.
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, automated scripts.
  • Be responsible for developing Integration, System and UI tests.
  • Execute different manual/automated test suites and report test results.
  • Be part of an agile team, collaboratively verifying features through our software development lifecycle.

  • More than 8-10 years of relevant experience inQA and test automation
  • An educational background in Computer Science, Computer or Telecom Engineering or other related technical domains.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python.
  • Proficient in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Strong experience in interacting and consuming with RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledgeable using a test management system, i.e., Jira, qTest.
  • Familiarity with source control tools like GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins.
  • Experience in UI and API testing using Postman.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in Application Performance Testing is a plus.
  • Experience with any Container Technologies and Kubernetes.
  • Networking basics (TCP/IP stack, network protocols, network security)
  • Familiarity with Telco 3GPP standards
