Job Description

Job Purpose:The Senior Sales Advisors role is to help maximize sales for the store and to ensure that the store and it?s staff provide a first class customer experience.?KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Help to maximize sales for the store.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the department with the CDM.?
  • Ensure minimization of costs by controlling wastage, handling merchandise properly to avoid shrinkage, etc in the store.?
  • Stocks shelves, counters or tables with merchandise; ensures that visual merchandising guidelines are adhered to and standards maintained.
  • Counts and balances cash register and receipts.?
  • Stamps or attaches price tags on stock.

  • Act as the Senior contact in store for customer and any other interactions and lead the staff and direct their activities as briefed by store management.
  • Coach and guiding staff on customer service behaviours and customer service.?
  • Help prepare reports and carry out store walks with the CDMs.??
  • Act as role model for the SAschandise and checks tagged prices to verify accuracy referring to price list.
JOB CONTEXT:Senior Sales Assistants at M&S need to provide an example on the shop floor -?they are relied on to guide and help the sales assistants working with them.?Their role is critical in ensuring the success of the store and the growth of the business.
