The main purpose of this position is to perform technical assessments of materials behavior, irradiation and environmental effects, and chemistry aspects of materials degradation of Structure, Systems, and Components (SSCs), in line with ENRRA?s Integrated Management System.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the assessment of the site study on features of the site that might be significant to Nuclear Assess submitted information related to materials, metallurgy, component integrity and Non-Destructive Test (NDT) issues.Participate in developing regulations, guides and procedures related to his/her area of expertise.Assess aging management programs submitted by authorized parties of the Nuclear Installations in relation to materials of SSCs.Assess tests on raw materials or finished products in order to ensure their quality.Assess material performance and material deterioration.Assess compliance with the respective authorization during construction, commissioning, and operation, and recommend any necessary enforcement actions in the event of non-compliance.Check the structural integrity of the main safety-related pipelines and components (pressure vessel, main coolant line, steam generators, etc.)Represent ENRRA in dealing with external Technical Consultants involved in the manufacturing, and construction of the NPP?s safety-related to mechanical equipment and components.Participate in assessing the Safety Analysis Report (SAR) and submitted documents to verify that parts related to materials of mechanical systems, equipment, and components reasonably demonstrate the safety of the nuclear installations.Maintain a systematic recording of assessments, in line with the Integrated Management System.Participate in inspections of mechanical systems, equipment and components.¿½Identify and evaluate the safety impact of findings detected during assessments and inspections, and issue relevant reports.Participate in assessing the licenses of the Nuclear Installation operating personnel.Carry out other tasks assigned by the Head of Department/ Head of Sector..
