Job Description

Role Purpose:Lead the development of company portfolio strategy as well as annual operating plan, while building capacity for future growth.˙Role Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, communicate, and lead the execution of the Annual Marketing Plan.
  2. Develop company portfolio strategy to drive Market share, volumes, revenue, and profitability targets as per Annual Marketing Plan.
  3. Sets the pricing strategy/pack price architecture in partnership with the purchasing team to drive company portfolio/ Brand positioning and segmentation across the different chains.˙
  4. Leads in partnership with the leadership team the SKU rationalization process in line with the company growth strategy.
  5. Leads the digital transformation journey, identifying needed E-Commerce platforms and partnering with IT for development and launch.
  6. Partner with market research agencies to identify market opportunities and consumer preferences that drive the company portfolio.˙
  7. Track competitive activities and be proactive in recommending the right counter plans to the company leadership team.
  8. Interacting with the leadership team to ensure contribution & alignment with respect to brand initiatives communications, marketing calendars and in-store activities.˙Ensure synergies across all company locations.
  9. Set and track the M&A budget spent.˙Review the financial impact of all activities and controls spending within the agreed budget.
  10. Develops in partnership with Sales Directors the merchandising strategy and visual merchandizing execution in the stores.˙
  11. Assess departmental manpower planning and skill requirements. Develop plans to develop the capability of the team.
