Job Description

BASIC RESPONSIBILITY AREASLogistics Responsible reports to Logistics Supervisor functionally and administratively. Logistics Responsible performs all daily logistics planning and operations activities such as reviewing freight units, generating optimal transportation plans, preparing documentation for shipments and tracking both inbound and outbound orders periodically within the region he/she is responsible for. Logistics Responsible also studies the logistics network to improve routes/LSPs, transportation modes and analyzes incoterms. Logistics Responsible collaborates with Sourcing teams on finding new LSPs when necessary and provides input for LSP performance evaluation, as well.˙JOB DESCRIPTION1.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Execute all logistics planning and operations activities in line with the set vision, strategy and strategic plan2.˙˙˙˙˙˙Perform regularly the necessary study and analysis for managing global logistics network of ?i?ecam in terms of reviewing main routes, destination locations, LSPs, transportation modes, etc., identifying their alternatives, developing the recommendations accordingly and finalizing the study by taking feedback from Logistics Manager and LSPs3.˙˙˙˙˙˙Review and analyze current incoterms regularly, define new alternatives in the collaboration with Customs Operations/Foreign Trade, Logistics Category and Finance departments, prepare related reports and incoterms by considering Logistics Manager and Logistics Directors feedbacks, create regarding list in the system and inform related departments4.˙˙˙˙˙˙Review and provide feedback about received/updated freight units, offer alternatives to the request owner if necessary5.˙˙˙˙˙˙Set planned status for each transportation request after generating its plan and inform related departments6.˙˙˙˙˙˙Where transportation plan is provided by the customer/supplier, get the transportation plan and inform related departments7.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙For the shipments which are provided by Jumbo vehicles, follow and apply the optimization system for Jumbo to generate optimum plan8.˙˙˙˙˙˙For each shipment provided by LSP check the service requirements and constraints, receive customer specific shipment requirements from Sales/Procurement department and take approvals from authorities when necessary9.˙˙˙˙˙˙Use optimization tool to see optimum transportation plan alternatives, when there are needs of change in requests, inform request owner and select most appropriate and cost-effective alternative10.˙˙˙˙˙When there is LSP sourcing need for the transportation plan, notify category team after gathering and reviewing required specifications and ensure that the new LSP is defined in the system11.˙˙˙˙˙When there is a situation with LSP which does not comply with the contract, provide updates if a change in overall logistics plan is needed, otherwise negotiate with LSP and update transportation plan with availability, get regarding confirmations if necessary12.˙˙˙˙˙Inform material/finished goods warehouse team for ramp reservation when the transportation plan is complete13.˙˙˙˙˙Control the date and reservation information of the shipments after the ramp reservations are made in the system14.˙˙˙˙˙Where shipments are provided by the customer/supplier, notify customer/supplier carrier of the proposed plan/date and after receiving confirmation, get related vehicle information15.˙˙˙˙˙Create freight request/order in the system for the shipments provided by LSP and inform LSP about freight request/order. If the transportation plan is approved by LSP, get and control necessary information and documentation provided by them; if there is any unsolved problem with LSP, inform related departments16.˙˙˙˙˙Prepare necessary documents for shipments such as delivery note, pallet ticket, etc.17.˙˙˙˙˙Track order and document readiness and the status of freight units periodically. Keep tracking inbound and outbound orders until the delivery is confirmed18.˙˙˙˙˙When there is an issue regarding order status (both inbound and outbound), take necessary actions to detect the root cause, contact with the related departments, inform all effected stakeholders and record the delay19.˙˙˙˙˙Provide input to LSP performance evaluation20.˙˙˙˙Provide input to Order Fulfillment Responsible regarding logistics plan and operations21.˙˙˙˙˙Actively communicate with Logistics Team Leader to ensure mutual understanding regarding tasks and performance expectations ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙22.˙˙˙˙Execute & complete the tasks assigned by Logistics Team Leader on time and at expected quality˙˙˙˙˙23.˙˙˙˙Take part in the logistics projects led by Supply Chain Development and Integration24.˙˙˙˙Provide input to Logistics Supervisor for him/her to create daily, weekly, and monthly reports and analytics and provide support in the maintenance of these reports25.˙˙˙˙Assist Logistics Supervisor with taking corrective actions and/or providing operational insight for the unachieved goals in the performance reports and KPIs26.˙˙˙˙Escalate any issues to Logistics Supervisor in a timely manner and assist in discussions and solution finding process˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙27.˙˙˙˙˙If necessary, cooperate and interact with employees from other regions within the Supply Chain˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙28.˙˙˙˙Participate in relevant and mandatory training as assigned and provide feedback for the meetings˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙29.˙˙˙˙Support peers onboarding and adaptation process˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙30.˙˙˙˙Enter annual leaves within the specified time periods31.˙˙˙˙˙Implementation of occupational safety and health instructions, ensuring the work environment and preserving the environment.32.˙˙˙˙Linking the prescribed prevention tasks to other prevention tasks during the workflow.33.˙˙˙˙Reporting to the Safety and Environment Department of any undesirable event (to the safety and environment organizations) in which it threatens the environment, the facility and the facility.Reporting to the Quality Department about the safety of the food safety system (FSSC 22000) and product safety.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
