Job Description

The role will be based inEgypt (10thofRamadan city).You will act as a key personresponsible for the sourcing, purchase/ contract and management of materials, services and supplies in the logistics department.As a Logistics Officer,you will be responsible for the effective running of the logistics department including work processes, customer satisfaction and long term growth and development within established organization guidelines.Here?s some of the other things you can look forward to:

  • Manage day to day logistics to ensure processes are followed and work is done effectively and on time.
  • Deal with suppliers, vendors, transport companies etc to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed and deal with day to day issues, keep Logistics Manager updated of issues in the activities.
  • Responsible for inventory control ,warehousing transportation and distribution, may also involve with procurement, customer services, customs etc.
  • Responsible for business profitability of the operation centre.
  • Follow all the guidelines and Group procedures.
  • Use IT system to gather information and make the shipments of sales prompted by customers.
  • Ensure working in the Hempel quality, Safety Excellence and Sustainability way.
  • You will report to the Factory Manager.
