The main purpose of this position is to conduct regulatory inspections to analyze documentation and industrial standards applicable to the construction, assembly, commissioning and operation of mechanical systems, in line with ENRRA?s Integrated Management System.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections during the construction, assembly and commissioning of the NPP?s safety-related mechanical systems.Participate in developing regulations, guides and procedures related to his/ her area of expertise.Analyze the mechanical engineering aspects in safety-related systems of the Nuclear Installations at various stages of life cycle, including the aging and maintenance management, in order to verify compliance with the applicable regulations and with the state of the art in this area.Analyze industrial standards applied by the authorized party to the construction, assembly, and commissioning of the Nuclear Installation?s safety-related mechanical systems.Monitor compliance with the respective authorization during construction, commissioning and operation, recommending any necessary enforcement actions in the event of non-compliance.Participate in inspection, including planning, reviewing documents, directing the team, and preparing the inspection reports.Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, equipment and components.Verify the authorized party?s procedures for the construction, assembly, commissioning and operation of mechanical systems, equipment and components, in order to plan inspections to check that the procedures are being properly followed.Systematically record inspections data, in line with the Integrated Management System.Participate in assessing submitted documents by applicant/licensee to verify that the parts related to mechanical systems, equipment, and components reasonably demonstrate the safety of the nuclear installation.Carry out other tasks assigned by the Head of Department/ Head of Sectors.
