We aspire to create a step-change in the industry and we want you to be a part of the journey!About the roleResponsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports and communicating the needed findingsKey Responsibilities:

  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations.
  • Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Assist other departments such as HR and Marketing with reviewing of expenses.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Assist in preparing the taxation reports in Egypt.
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
  • 1-3 years of Proven Experience as an GL Accountant or Financial Controller in wholesale distribution industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software is a plus
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Very good command of both written and spoken English.
