Responsibility

Consistently ensure a safe and clean vehicle in good repair, including all environmental and safety systems.
Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
Prepare specifications for requisitions of tools, parts, supplies & controls spending according to budget.
Implement preventative maintenance program for vehicles.
Manage drivers so they adhere to strict schedules
Manage vehicle licensure and registration
Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency by establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules
Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Monitor driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency.
Utilize GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress.
