Job Description

About our clientOur client is a major international player in the tourism industry.?As part of its growth in North Africa, we are looking for a Financial Controller, position based in Cairo, Egypt.Based in Cairo, you report directly to the Finance Director and in dotted-line to the Country Director and act as a true financial partner of the new business unit in Egypt.As such, you are responsible for the following missions:

  • Manage all aspects related to the management of financial control with autonomous accounting within a subsidiary in the country,
  • Ensure the processing of all financial transactions including turnover, costs and fixed assets: Accounts payable, taxes, monitoring of outsourced activity, cash and banking management, monthly closings, production of annual financial reports, relations with auditors and certain regulatory authorities,
  • Strengthen internal control and governance so as to guarantee clear, fair and complete accounting activity,
  • Report a clear vision of the field and of the transactions to the management committee based in Europe and act as a real local partner for the Group,
  • Manage, train, and grow your team,
  • Participate in the management of local purchases when necessary,
  • Act as the Groups Financial Ambassador in Egypt.
