Since then we have continued to bring growth and security and safety to the country by upgrading these transportation systems as well as providing solutions for customers in air traffic management, air defence and Navy.Job Purpose

  • The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for in service support of new System Radar.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Diagnosis of hardware and software problems,
  • Completion and submission of System and Hardware Problem Reports,
  • Informal on the job training (i.e. OJT) for the Buyer personnel on Radar System operation and maintenance,
  • Routine system checks,
  • Responding to requests from the Buyer personnel to perform system troubleshooting,
  • Initial assessment of failed parts to assess repair/replace decision,
  • Radar Systems repair utilizing Customer Furnished spares and tools,
  • Modification/updates to hardware limited to changes subsequent to technical issues and approved by Radar System Design Authority (The Seller),
  • Delivery of a monthly report on the Radar Systems, including availability, status of the Radar Systems,
Experience, Qualification & Educational Requirements
  • Having a track record of performing in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably dealing with Complex Systems (Electrical, Electronic and SW)
  • Must be capable of resolving issues and problems
  • Having strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in the spoken and written word
  • Must be able to work as part of a team but must be self-sufficient and willing to travel and work on their own
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electro-Mechanical)
  • The candidate must be an ex-military
