Our client, a leading regional Oilfield Service company, is looking to fill the positions of ESG Officer/Specialist. Position will be responsible for implementing and managing Egypt?s ESG initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, promoting social responsibility, and enhancing governance practices. The officer/Specialist will work closely with local stakeholders to align the companys operations with ESG goals. Local ESG Strategy Development: Collaborate with local management to develop and implement ESG strategies that align with both the companys global objectives and the specific environmental, social, and regulatory context of the country.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local environmental and social regulations, as well as any relevant international standards. This might involve staying up to date with local legislation and working with legal teams to ensure adherence.Environmental Management: Oversee local environmental initiatives, such as waste management, emissions reduction, and resource conservation. This might include conducting environmental impact assessments and implementing sustainability projects.Social Responsibility Programs: Develop and manage programs that address social issues within the local community, such as education, health, and workforce development.
