1. Applying protocols and standards of health care and explaining it to doctors and emergency room staff.2. Prepare and maintain statistics and reports of the department and also prepare periodic reports and submit them to the hospitals top management whenever necessary.3. Planning all medical, clinical and administrative activities in the department, defining responsibilities, delegating authority, evaluating performance and recommending functional procedures to be implemented.4. Evaluate the performance of doctors and nurses and follow up their implementation.5. Ensure that all emergency room personnel comply with the infection control policies6. Evaluate the services provided by the emergency room through quality control programs and other technical programs and follow up their implementation7. Assess the needs of modern medical equipment technically and the method of operation and evaluate the efficiency and feasibility of their economies and the impact on the work of the department.8. Participate in the medical and administrative committees of the hospital9. Follow up the internal training programs for the employees and maintain their implementation to cover the training needs of the emergency and reception department.10. Carry out any other similar tasks assigned to him.
