DESCRIPTIONLead the Direct Imports for Amazon in Egypt. Responsible for importing products for Amazon Retail.Key job responsibilitiesThe Direct Import Leader is responsible for:- Ensuring the execution of the Operating Plan for Importation in Egypt.- Ensures the coverage of Import stocks during sales events.- Delivers the lead time from all importation destinations to Egypt.- Delivers the cost objectives as Cost per Unit imported according to the plan and work towards stretched targets.- Sets Logistic Providers strategy in a way that ensures business continuity and having competitive cost and delivery time.- Work with Amazon Fulfilment Centers to ensure safe and timely inbounding of Direct Imports into Amazon Fulfilment Centers.- Ensures Carriers and logistics providers are complying with customs and other regulations in partnership with Compliance teams.- Supports automation, lean and simplification projects for the region through working with the team for annual roadmap that delivers continuous improvement for the Regional Direct Import Team.
