We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)/Senior Technical Director for the anticipated USAID Osra award. Position Description:The DCOP/Senior Technical Director (STD) will provide overall technical leadership and direction of all activities of the anticipated USAID OSRA family planning project focused on comprehensive approach to voluntary FP/RH, integrating other health technical areas such as MNCH, immunization, nutrition, and WASH with FP/RH interventions to increase impact. Scaling up promising FP/RH local practices and private sector engagement to expand industry?s role in quality service delivery while exploring innovative digital health opportunities to improve Egyptian?s access to quality FP/RH services and strengthening key health systems in data management and human resources for health (HRH) to build the capacity of health care professionals.The STD will oversee all technical aspects of project implementation. In consultation with the Osra Chief of Party (COP), will ensure close coordination with USAID and other stakeholders, ensuring that all project interventions are of high quality and lead to measurable impact. The STD will be responsible for providing overall technical and strategic leadership to the project; manage technical capacity development of the program; provide portfolio management leadership in the management, implementation, prioritization, sequencing, and selection of projects; supervise staff who support the technical aspects of the project; plans and directs schedules; monitors the program from initiation through delivery.The recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI 360 and final USAID approval of the candidate.
