DescriptionRole purpose: To be responsible for the capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup & data recovery. Also be involved in the implementation of strategy & delivery of the core database, as well as troubleshooting any issuesJob ResponsibilityKey accountabilities and decision ownership:? Mentor & develop the junior team members to ensure best delivery? Manage the design & delivery of databases & application servers solutions & capabilities in line with dynamic business demand? Provide 24/7/365 support & monitor for all enterprise databases & Application Servers within Vodafone to ensure their stability/capacity planning growth, performance KPIs & E2E proactive monitoring? Participate with the vendor negotiation to maximize return on investment or strategy? Implement and provide reports for IT Security, Privacy, Confidentiality Policies and Procedures related to all aspects of work with constituent customer and financial dataKey performance indicators:? Provide 24/7/365 support & monitor for all enterprise databases to ensure their stability/capacity planning growth, performance KPIs & E2E proactive monitoring? Achieve systems KPIs such as Incidents SLAs, Incidents MTTF, and change management KPIsRequirements Core competencies, knowledge and experience:? Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills? Dedication, sense of ownership, and ability to work within a team? Innovative & creative thinking for new solutions, technologies and data protection? The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines cross the function groups? Eye for detail and accuracyMust have technical / professional qualifications:? Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.? Minimum 5 years database working experience?
