Database & Data Center Technical ManagerActs as technical resources manager in terms of preparing a resourcing plan in accordance to the forecasted project expansions, and obtain approval from the Head of Technical Delivery for a hiring decision, share in staff selection.Acts as technical resources manager in terms of preparing a resourcing plan in accordance to the forecasted project expansions, and obtain approval from the Head of Technical Delivery for a hiring decision, share in staff selection.Revises and submits the entity structure and plans based on units? sales plan.Sets his entity objectives with the Head of Technical Delivery and follow up achieving them.Set process and maintenance methodology to be executed through the technical staff in the technical teams.Sets the rules to accept the projects with the pre-sales team.Distribute vendors technical updates (FCO?s, Tech Tips, EOL, ?etc) to all technical teams and monitor their implementations.? Creates, revises and reviews the project implementation plan with PM?s, ensuring it meets client requirements and achievable within the suggested time frame.Continuously report the projects status (progress and problems) to the concerned Project Manager and share problems resolution information.? Represents the LoB in related subject?s matters.Maintains high customer satisfaction by following up quality of technical work delivered and subordinates attitudes? Submits to the Head of Technical Delivery a weekly summary report including work status and any pending issueHandle any technical complaints from customer and convert them into positive feedback.Handle and follow support issues / escalation with vendors until resolved.Assigns his team to their activities, supervises and monitors their performance throughout the project and acts as the second line support during the implementation phase.Sets performance objectives for subordinates, measures, and indicators as per Balanced Score Cards (BSC) policy in GS.Evaluates the performance of direct subordinates. Reviews and approves the performance evaluations prepared by his subordinates for their team and submits them to the Head of Technical Delivery for final approval.Trains and transfers knowledge and know-how to the team on acquired training of new solutions.Prepares and issues a developing Plan for his team recommending them to corresponding training courses related to each team member?s area for development, and approve the plan from the Head of Technical, and keep track of training records and skills.Team member?s retention and backup plans.Personal SkillsExcellent management ,communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.Excellent command of English.Technical Skills? Very good knowledge of Datacenters, Networks and Data Base.? Very good practical experience in Databases or Datacenters.?
