-Installing, Upgrading and Managing Oracle RAC with ASM.
- Managing Oracle standby databases (Data Guard).
- Installing, Upgrading and Managing Microsoft SQL Server Database.
- Managing SQL Server standby databases Availability Domain (AlwaysOn).
- Supervised the process of segregate the core application databases from Gulf data center to our data center.
- Comply with PCIDCC standards.
- Manage database team and ensure service delivery based on ITIL standards.
- Responsible for Release and Deployment Management process.
- Experience in upgrade and migration of oracle database to higher version in multi platforms.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the databases.
- Periodic Patching of database.
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances, backup, partitions, encryption, security, and storage.
- Working closely with developers and QA to support operations in UAT and production environments.
- Expert skills in database backups and Recovery strategies using RMAN, data pump and Export/Import.
- Planning, scheduling, and Monitoring daily Day end operation and night jobs using OEM.
Responsible for companys operational and web-enabled, databases administration, security administration, backup & recovery, and performance tuning (Oracle and MS SQL)
Maintaining and administering the companys insurance and financial packages
Running and administering the companys daily/monthly business closing batch routines and intervening to fix problems efficiently if any occur
Assisting in, and maintaining the new companys Warehouse database
Applying already developed modifications/enhancements code to the current operational systems
Assist in other systems administration assignments
