Job Description

Role purpose: ? Lead a team of approx. 40 data & Analytics professional that include, data engineers, data architects, Visualization developers, Product managers and Data scientist? Lead impactful Data Architecture/ Solutioning/ Innovations & Value Add to a Vodafone markets and group functions? Develop a deep knowledge on the data architecture and model of the market supported and for Nucleus program? Help markets migrate from local data structures to next gen data structures? Contribute in building next generation data models for Nucleus program and implementing common data products across markets? Propose, develop and implement data solutions/ products? Develop & manage deep engagement with relevant stakeholders from the supported market? Coach junior team members in relevant areas through deep knowledge in one or more technology areas? Build capabilities on data and analytics within DIAS (GBIS )? Own relevant innovation & bottom-line impact initiativesKey accountabilities and decision ownership ? Data products capability building and people management? Analysis, Classification and Consolidation of requirements from a solution design point of view.? Translation of Business Requirements into a solution design as basis for the further development process.? Creation of data models/products according to Business Requirements.? Contribute to Golden source building and implementation of common data products on Nucleus models? Identification, definition and specification of data transformation and aggregation procedures? Alignment of solution design decisions with lead information architect and with IT.? Architecting and designing BI components for Data transitions/transformations under BI.? Design & Review of solution designs of team colleagues? Guiding developers through solution design and answer their questions throughout development activities? Architectural Design, concepts and strategies for future development of the Data application landscape? Interfaces with Customers:- All Vodafone departments? Leadership & Teamwork- Leads a large data team, consulting in several project teams? Communication:- In close collaboration with all departments, with partners within BI plus BI ITCore competencies, knowledge and experience ? Managing a high performing team? Strong Data Delivery management experience? Designing Data solutions, proposing multiple options for best solutions? Solution/ Enterprise Architecture? Data Architecture - LDM/ PDM? Industry knowledge of standard models for Telecom? Architecting Process and technology landscape? Data Modelling - -Ability to design and implement logical and physical data models (normalized as well de-normalized model), with Many-to-Many Relationships, role attributes and Hierarchies in BI Tool,? Hands of experience on industry standard tools? Exp of 14 plus years in Data & Analytics with hands on experience on Data Architecture , Data products building? Good communication, Presentation and Stakeholder Management Skills5-6 years on Consulting experienceMust have technical / professional qualifications: ? Graduate or PG in Engineering / Computer Application? Certifications in TOGAF & relevant areas would be advantageous? Working knowledge on cloud platforms,#_VOIS
