Job Description

Role Summary:The qualified candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a passion for developing innovative/creative solutions in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a self-starter who possesses exceptional technical and critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and must have excellent oral/written communication skills.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop business intelligence reporting including historical data trend analysis and visualizations that identify business improvement opportunities
  • Partner with business areas to define critical reporting needs and provide guidance regarding the availability of data and set expectations around delivery of results
  • Work with IT stakeholders in establishing access to data sources, obtaining definitions of data sets and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of information
  • Assists with implementation of relevant data into database and resolves any data quality issues by working with team members and stakeholders to identify root causes of and solve data concerns.
  • Design and execute data extract/transform/load (ETL) scripts and environment migrations
  • Create and maintain best-data-modeling-practices-based Analysis Services to meet analytics requirements
  • Create Ad-hoc analyses that span multiple databases of potentially mixed levels of normalization and ?cleanliness?
  • Provide support for development and infrastructure issues surrounding the availability of reporting platforms
  • Prioritize the development, maintenance and support of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist with special projects, data maintenance, and other day-to-day tasks in support of the overall Business Intelligence platform
  • Analyze data and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effectively manage workload by prioritizing ad-hoc requests, development efforts and analysis
Job Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience with Data Analytics
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Experience working with Data Warehousing, Reports and Dashboards
  • Knowledge of Dimensional and relational modelling techniques
  • Good Analytical and Execution ability
  • Knowledge in Healthcare or Insurance Industry preferred but not required
  • Very organized with high-level attention to details
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under challenging circumstances
  • Experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, dimensional models / star schema, and Power BI preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and R is a plus.
