Who we areThe Oracle Retail Consulting group is highly skilled and diverse group of individuals who specialize in ecommerce, specifically on the Oracle Commerce Cloud platform.Oracle is a market leader in eCommerce, Omni Channel, and Cloud Solutions and our team is at the forefront of implementing industry leading solutions for our clients.This is a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment with tremendous opportunities for professional growth and development.What we doThe primary role of the team is to deliver a high-quality ecommerce sites to clients which meets their business requirements.We run implementation projects on the Oracle Commerce Cloud platform and design and develop customizations to suit the client?s needs.We utilize best practices in design, security and performance to deliver industry leading solutions for globally recognized brands.Your jobThis is an opportunity to be involved in projects for big name retail brands across the globe alongside an extremely diverse and international team.Your job will involve developing websites to specification and often influencing those specifications through direct interaction with the client.We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individuals with proven experience with JavaScript and either React or Knockout frameworks.Knowledge of ecommerce and/or cloud services and REST APIs would be highly advantageous.Whilst focusing on Front End development, this role has the potential to evolve into full stack development using Node.js.If you are quick learner, analytical problem solver and have a great attitude as a team player, we want to hear from you.ExperienceBachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related subject or equivalent experience in technology-related fieldTypically, 2 - 5 years? experience developing software in JavaScript (JS) and modern JS library frameworks.Essential skillsReact.js or Knockout.jsDesirable skillsNode.js, Bootstrap, JenkinsAdditional Information You should be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and without the need for individual task-management and supervision.You should be able to organise your time in order to meet the assigned deliverables within agreed time/cost constraints and client expectationYou are expected to be familiar with source control (Git, Bitbucket, etc), project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc) and have experience collaborating with a team of developers.Knowledge of Oracle Commerce Cloud not essential as training will be provided.This role requires you to be available Monday ? Friday.Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications. Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. 2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
