Job Description

About the Role?The Collections Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.What you will do?

  • Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
  • Resolves client-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts on a daily basis.
  • Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
  • Maintain email correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
  • Investigate historical data for debts and bills
  • Take actions in order to encourage timely payments
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Update account status records
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
  • Maintain all related tasks assigned by direct manager.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor?s Degree in accounting, finance, or any related discipline.Required personal qualities - Excellent communication skills.- Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.Required competences - Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred- Very Good English.Minimum Experience- Solid experience of collections and understanding of delivery & logistics business.
