Role purpose:To deliver the Group Networks Virtual Foundation & OSS infrastructure in accordance with the strategy and the goals of the domain.Accountable and responsible for the deployment of NFV/SDN solutions.Perform the onboarding of Network functions into customer virtualized environmentParticular technology focus on NVI & OSS infrastructure (hypervisor, computing, storage, Network - physical or virtual), remote access solutions, cloud, security and backup solutions.Working with the On Boarding team to automated delivery and integrations.Driving the harmonisation and consolidation strategy of OSS systems within the sub-domain.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:? Responsible for the delivery lifecycle management of assigned solutions within Europe? Coordinating suppliers, engage with peers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of functionality and quality in projects? Develop the strategy for the subdomain and initiate projects and control initiatives contributing to that? Manage the detailed budget and long range planning and ensuring the timely delivery meeting or exceeding Capex targetsCore competencies, knowledge and experience:? Strong communication and negotiation skills? Customer oriented and systematic way of working? Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change? Strong individual applied thinking.? Good analytical and problem solving skillsMust have technical / professional qualifications:? University degree in engineering or similar? Spanish/Romanian/Hungarian/Portuguese languages will be considered a plus.? More than 2 years professional experience in engineering? Deep knowledge of IT Life Cycle and project management? ITIL, ETOM and project management knowledge (e.g. PMP or Prince2)? Strong focus on delivery? Cloud computing architecture and design (IT and Telco)? Design and deployment experience with the VMware Telco Cloud Suite or OpenStack distribution in Telco/NFV environments? Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, cloud, virtualization architectures and operational processes? Practical development expertise or scripting experience in either Linux Bash, Power Shell, Python, JavaScript, Perl or other languages? Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet? Cloud providers knowledge and or Cisco CCNA/CCNP will be a plusKey performance indicators:?
