Role purpose:? Analyse business requirements of Vodafone Products & Services for post-paid subscribers.? Design & implement products & services in Billing domain.? Own code end-to-end from design to development on Billing platforms.? Embrace automation and DevOps techniques and use version control on the billing tools and deployments.? Ensure all products & services have the highest quality & best customer experience.? Third-line support for handling live customer complaints in case it requires fix or enhancement.? Communication with technical, business, finance and customer care stakeholders to agree on requirements and proposed design.? Work collaboratively in Agile team to deliver business requirements.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:? Detailed analysis of business requirements.? Approaching simple & optimum design for products & services.? Strategic thinking in building new solutions.? Ensure proper documentation for all products & services.? Sharing knowledge with team members and make use of best practices.Core competencies, knowledge and experience:? Excellent oral and written communication skills.? Having strong data-driven analytical skills.? Creative and problem solver with a passion to provide excellent customer experience.? Comfortable with a multi-tasking, high-energy environment.? Experience in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.? Exposure to Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity is a plus.? Vendor ManagementMust have technical / professional qualifications:? Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.? Experience in telco Billing systems? 2+ years of Experience with Systems administration in Linux/Unix.? 2+ years of Experience with Databases.? Programming / scripting experience (Java, Perl, Python, Javascript ?)? Good knowledge in computer networks.
